The Annual Meetings, which are attended by approximately 4,000 member-country delegates, 650 observer organization representatives, 900 members of the press, and 550 accredited civil society members, are held each Fall. The 2017 Annual Meetings will be held from October 13 - 15 in Washington, D.C.

At the Annual Meetings, the joint World Bank Group-IMF Development Committee and the IMF's International Monetary and Financial Committee convene to discuss the work of the institutions. The Plenary Session of the World Bank Group and IMF Boards of Governors is also held during the Annual Meetings.
